The Government of Maharashtra has cleared an ambitious plan for the Kalyan Growth Centre. Adding to the industrial infrastructure, the state government in Maharashtra has cleared the Rs 1,000-crore Kalyan Growth Centre (KGC) project with the project modeled on the lines of Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. KGC will be a holistic project, be driven for and by the sons of the soil. The project will also provide an alternative to Mumbai, which is already over congested. The growth centre will have a well-developed transport system, smart city facilities and necessary infrastructure for housing, to attract long-term investors.
